See the difference
Without the app, your gallery shows all product images regardless of which variant a customer selects. With the app enabled, customers see only the images that belong to the variant they have chosen — keeping the experience clean, focused, and professional.
Step 1 — Arrange your images and enable the app on your product
The first thing you need to do is tell the app which images belong to which variant. You do this from the Manage product media page.
Open any product, drag the relevant images into the bucket next to each variant name, and once you are happy with the arrangement, toggle the app on for that product.

Step 2 — Enable the app on your theme
Once your product is set up, you need to activate the app embed on your theme. This is what makes the app actually work on your storefront. Without this step, the variant image filtering will not show up for your customers even if the app is enabled on your products.
Click Enable app embed and toggle the app on in your Shopify theme editor.
You can activate the app on your published theme to go live, or test it on an unpublished theme first if you want to verify everything looks correct before going live.
That is it — you are all set! Once both steps are done, your customers will see only the images for the variant they have selected, giving them a clean and focused shopping experience.
